Loving the positivity in this thread. Im willing to bet most of you have seen him play less than 5 times and are regurgitating the opinions of other posters who have also likely never seen him play.

Just going to assume they didn't want to break up the Biega Andersson pairing and are hoping Sauve can magically be inspired by a call up

Most likely just want a final look at Sauve before they catapult him out the door to free up another contract. Torts probably doesn't know the kid very well...

Giving him a couple of games then moving him in another deal. Then he goes from being a "total bust" to being able to be moved alongside a 2nd/3rd to pick up a deadline asset.

1 mistake in the dzone. torts will probably let him ride the bench. but with the recent injuries to the 2 top 4 dman.. he;ll probably be fine.
