The games where he plays well are the ones we can't score.
Any game this team has had a hope of winning lately has required exceptional goaltending.

Can't even get the puck out cleanly.... such a terrible game. 0 effort or fire like usual.

But punching a guy in the face is still a penalty right?
You say strong hockey play, but it was simply crap reffing
not true. The wins during the streak often had shaky goaltending, especially towards the end of it.
Effort has nothing to do with it.
They are getting shut down by a team that is exploiting the Oiler's lack of defensemen who can execute a breakout pass, and smothering them in the defensive zone with their superior grit.
True enough. This team has given up on the season. They almost made it to January.

Columbus started like 0-10 or something.how the hell are we in 29th spot still?
About 4 of those wins were because of goaltending. Just a pathetic effort from this team.
good goaltending is never enough. Our team earned those wins, and not just the goalie. We just are way too thin to deal with losing a guy like Klefbom.
We simply aren't s good team. I think we were outshot in most of our wins.good goaltending is never enough. Our team earned those wins, and not just the goalie. We just are way too thin to deal with losing a guy like Klefbom.
Sure it does, they are 2nd to every loose puck and peel off everytime. I get hitting isn't everything but for your opponent to know you won't hit them to make a play it becomes a easier game to play. No one is ever worried they might have to take a hit to make a play against the Oilers.
Nah. We will keep everyone sign another bottom pairing guy and resign Schultz. It is the Oilers wayImagine how good they would be with him. And two more defenders of his quality? Wouldn't that be awesome to have a legit top 4.
