Same here in Moncton. I've already been without power more times (and longer) than the last 20 winters. And winter hasn't even officially started.

Heavy snow pal. Unfortunately in Atlantic Canada, we get a wet snow and it sags the transmission lines bad. I think we are gonna get hit with a bad winter for sure. You guys usually get a lot more snow in Moncton. I'm almost 2.5 hours from you guys

Sucks that 3 of the last 4 games were against very boring teams...gives people and media ammo to say hitch is gonna kill our offense. Im willing to bet without hitch we go 0-4 or 1-3 in the last 4.

I haven’t found the Hitch games boring.
Maybe board battles aren’t as fun as what we are used to (getting scored on) but it is way better than the trap.

Don't worry, I'll make sure to eat a snickers.

I turn into an ornery bastard when I'm hungry.

Sounds like you are a glass completely empty kinda guy...

I'm actually an elevator doesn't go to the top floor kind of guy.

That's the spirit! :DD

But seriously, people are a bit too down on things after the no-goal call last game. Stuff like that is not going to happen every game. Or so I hope...

We get screwed over almost every time that we play LA.

Did anyone listen to Struds interview with Kerry Fraser? He pretty much said McDavid should calmly ask the refs to pay attention to all the hooking and holding he deals with. No one should have to ask nicely for someone to do their job...
The amount of ego referees/linesman have is ridiculous. I don't know how many times it has to be said that people are not there to watch them. That Kerry Fraser segment (and Bud Steen with the lol CFL refs) almost always makes me cringe by how important they think they are (and refs seem to all think) to the game.

The fact that Fraser even said that should be an EMBARRASSMENT to their whole NHL ref union. Absolute joke.

For everyone who thinks Rattie has played himself out of the lineup. Rattie is by far a better scoring option than everyone in our bottom 6 outside of Caggiula.

I'm not too worried about Rattie.

There isn't really a spot in the top6 for him right now and, by Hitch's comments on him, it sounds like he does actually like him, but he doesn't fit his plan for the bottom six.

To me, it seems like Hitch is trying to reprogram the bottom six to play that heavy forechecking style by putting all the crash and bangers together. Once they're consistently doing that, I think he'll start putting a guy like Rattie back in there as he also mentioned a need for scoring from the top three lines.

Spooner is playing centre and Rattie isn't. I think the only reason Russell is in instead of Rattie is we need a Pker.

More fringe players should pay attention to this fact. Look at Matty Hendricks. He played his first NHL game at 27, and has since played almost 600 games. All from just listening to coaching and becoming a good PKer and then going out there and laying it all on the line

I haven’t found the Hitch games boring.

Not to mention any win is still enjoyable, and better than the most entertaining possible loss

Man Hitch still has only had 2 Full Practices with the team. Really is such a tough task to come in mid season. From that standpoint, Chia really did hit it out of the park because Hitch is a mid season specialist.

Anyone else liking Chiasson back on that first line. If this was Todd the experiment would be over cause Chiasson unluckily didn’t bury chances.

The team should ask, just like the Flames did. It seemed to help them.

Personally though, I think Bettman Inc. would prefer a different Art Ross champion at least every second year to show "parity" so that is likely trickling down through the ranks down to the lowly official.

Hopefully at some point Hitch realizes this team needs a right handed shot at the point on the pp. He's got Chiasson on the pp but its net front presence and we're still stuck with Mcdavid feeding Drai/Rnh and them having to dust off the pass before shooting and the goalies always save it because of that. JP needs to start converting (as well as his linemates looking at Russel last game with a wiff on a pass from JP in the slot) before he truly gets a chance on the pp I think.

Do they actually think people are there to watch them? I'd find that surprising. I think the referee ego comes across in individuals with an affinity for power who are just relishing the opportunity to exert that power over others.

I was leary of it just because Chiasson was going so well, consistently scoring from the second line which is what we need. I think he should have stayed with RNH and put Cags back on the top line.

The "CBA mandated day off" thing was a win for the players and I don't begrudge them that, but it definitely didn't do their coaching staffs any favours.

What, that Ducks game didn't do it for you?
Yep. Ducks game was seriously some awful shit. Two teams that can't score choking each other to death.

There were actual scoring chances in the Kings game.

Count me as another that is mystified how Rattie quickly ended up in the doghouse just due to injury. This is another WTF Oilers thing. The guy looks good playing on topline last year, contributes, and this year its smell you later. Again WTF.

Hitchcock playing favorites or Chia has his hand in the pie saying play Spooner.
