You don't know that will happen. We only have like 7 years in a row to reference here. But seriously, you forgot the part where he plugs any gaps with a 1-2 year contract to a veteran UFA.

yeah, I've pretty much given up on expecting the bottom half of the roster to undergo any significant change until their bodies fall apart and they can no longer walk up the steps to get into the building. even then we might sign the guy.

I don't think Dallas would have taken Nosek in that trade, to be honest. Nill knew what he wanted and it was Janmark for a reason. It's too bad Janmark wasn't given a chance here but that's what happens when you have a full roster and a bunch of good prospects in the pipeline. I'm not saying we lost much with that move (Janmark vs someone else) but definitely did not win either.
