I'm going to the game tonight.... It's sad, I'm not even excited. This is the last game on my ticket pack and I was hoping for a meaningful one. Once again...... **** you Oilers.

Will watch this just to see how Lander fares. This should be a good chance for him to show the brass that it's time for Belanger to be shown the door.

This lineup is also a wakeup call to all you geniuses who keep throwing Gagner and RNH in summer trade proposals.

The rest of the season is a try out for next year, basically. Guys like Lander and Hartikainen get some extra time to prove to Krueger/MacT that they deserve to be here next year.

I honestly wouldn't mind them calling up some other guys, but with OKC in the playoffs, I don't suspect they will.

Gonna be a bumpy, ugly road to end the season, boys and girls.

The fact that Whitney hasn't played a second since MacT arrived tells me his try-out is over and they've made a decision with him. This really shouldn't be seen as a try-out, these games mean nothing. I want to see how these guys do when the games matter, and unfortunately we only have 4 or 5 guys on the roster who can turn it up when needed. This is by far the least interested I've been in the team in years. No more story lines that interest me except maybe Yakupov/Calder and finishing low enough to draft in the top 5.

Just finished scoring a hat trick with Nail Yakupov in NHL 13, what does this mean?
The Kid is getting his first NHL Hat Trick tonight!

Still looking forward to this game, always excited for oilers games even when they seem meaningless, doesn't matter it's still my favorite team I'm gonna enjoy a few cold ones while I'm at it.

Excited to see Lander get some more ice-time.

I hope Yak lights it up.

I don't think it's a guaranteed loss here. The Ducks don't have that much to play for. They are out of the running for the president's trophy.

Hope Yak and Hall have good games!

I don't think Oilers will make playoffs till the first season in the new arena. That's my prediction. It's depressing, but I can see Katz think that way.

Other than my thoughts on Hall/Yak, the game is meaningless. Just finish the season already. Top 6 looks rough once you take RNH/Hemsky out. Smyth is no longer an NHL player.... Why is he on NHL ice? Even on the PK, he is garbage. Too slow to do anything.

I wonder what the PP units will be like with RNH out.

I would slot in Yakupov-Horcoff-Hall with JS and Pajaarvi

then Ebs, Lander, Hartikainen with Smid + Potter

NHL Draft Lottery will be held on April 29th.

No idea if all of the bottom 14 non-playoff teams will have a representative there and they'll make a big show of it like in the past with the bottom 5... but my guess is they likely will... seems the TSN show gets decent ratings and television runs the world.

That's Pittsburgh's lineup tonight against the Sens

Without Crosby, Malkin, or Neal... or Martin or Letang on the backend.
Likely still better than our vaunted forward group.

We have a ways to go.

Jokinen would've been a juicy pickup off of waivers but no, we rather gave up a draft pick for a pending UFA 32 yr old.
