This might be the first time I'd accept an argument for the main roster having the better card than NXT. Even if you ignore the rumble matches, it gives the stacked (as always) NXT card a challenge.

I love Samoa Joe, but I don't really think that a big push for him makes sense simply due to his age.

I really hope that they pull the trigger on Almas in the Rumble. He's been putting on great matches for such a long time. To me seeing him win would be the best possible outcome.

He's not been officially removed, he's still listed on the website as one of the entrants. So he still has a number, it's just unknown if he will (beat all the odds and) show up or not.

It could be one hell of a wrestling weekend. Beautiful card. NXT... omg. Ricochet vs. Gargano are you kidding me?

Now.. WWE usually does their Rumbles in 3 acts. My dream act 1 is this:

#1 Adam Cole Baaayyybaaay
#2: Dream
#3: Rey
#4: Almas
#5: Ali
#6: Joe

Make act 1 all about wrestling. Eventually the big guys will come in and clear house, but make act 1 all about wrestling. I'll make out like crazy.

Man, what a fun card. Haven't been pumped for a main roster card in a long ass time. This could go down as one of the best Rumbles in recent memory if everything goes as planned... which... often isn't the case.

I guess the bright spot of only watching PPVs is that everything is going to be really fresh, and the WWE does a good job with video packages to show the feud beforehand. I am looking forward to the Rumble as always!

I’m watching last year’s full men’s Rumble match, and while I can’t stand his phoned in main roster work, I miss babyface Shinsuke and fans singing his theme.

EDIT: also lol at Titus being in the ring at entrant 26. At this point, he’s sticking out like a sore thumb. Balor, Rollins, Cena, Miz, Cole, Nakamura, Orton and Titus are in the ring LOL. And now Rey at 27 lol

EDIT2: holy shit I forgot Ziggler actually kind of got a pop at #30 here.

EDIT3: this final 6 of new gen vs. old gen was seriously perfect. Perfect exclamation point on a very, very good Rumble match.
