We are playing peak Boudreau hockey. And that is fine for the regular season because it is so fun to watch.

Yeah it's great for regular season play and this early of the season. Team should really gel around February, hopefully the defense.

This early of the season I won't harp on rookies because it's great learning experience and plus we don't have a choice with the salary cap. I figure we'll have a few more of these games.

I guess I'm different than most of you guys. I watch a game more like a scout would. I like seeing skilled plays but I really appreciate smart players.

Towards end of year I would agree. Early in year is all about just getting points.

gives them time to work on fundamentals/tightening up end of year.

great start - even tho I agree total goals betting 7-10+ every game isn’t a great thing for playoff hockey...

I'm obviously different than most here. I like solid disciplined hockey. I like offense but I think first priority should be to take care of your own end.

4 Starts, 4-0! There is something about this kid that they should start him more! Samsonov is showing a goaltending level that the previous two backups(Copley and Grubauer) never reached.

It would keep Holtby fresher and Sammy would get more experience but sitting for 4 games at a time is rough.
