Reading this thread makes me happy to know I wasn’t the only bad fan who turned it off at 5-1. Big game in terms of showing the mentality of this team. Also glad to see holtby excited on the bench. A good sign the goalie situation is being handled well by the staff

After decompressing from the Nats game for 1/2 hour started to watch this game at 1am last night gave me this brain cloud for today (no I'm not going to get a 2nd opinion), took forever to crash
Pretty wild rollercoaster of a game; Eller, Kempny, Vrana, Kuz, Hathaway were pert-near-dang-doodly good

7 of 8 pts. on road trip so far, having the heaviest sched. so far (only team w/13 gms played, 2 back-to-backs), plus against a lot of tough competition has us in a pretty good spot

Before the season started Oct. sched. looked pretty daunting and WSH needed to be ready coming out of the gate
You can shart on the details all you want but 8-2-3 is great and puts us in fantastic position to take on the season's challenges
