Anyone know why the Jays roster hasn't been released yet? Should have been submitted 2 hours ago...

25 man roster has been named. Smoak and Feldman out(Barnes too), Goins and Pompey in(Liriano back)

Smoak gone? I don't believe it

At this point, we're in it to win it. Hopefully this'll be a wake up call for Smoak and he'll get it going over the offseason. Cuz, if he's not on the roster for the ALCS, there's no way on earth he'll be on the WS roster.

Interesting that Smoak is out. Who else would be able to play 1B if needed?

Everyone? I mean it's not terribly difficult. In a pinch they could use Bautista, Goins, Barney probably.

It's not the best solution but not the biggest concern like when someone not used to it has to play the middle infield

More indication that small ball will be needed more in this series than swing for the fences especially from the bench.

I just think there's no value with Smoak now that Edwin looks competent defensively. JB can fill in at first base if needed.

I have Leaf tix tomorrow and I honestly have no idea what the right move is.

I also am going to the Leaf game tomorrow. Here's what I'm doing (I live about a 2 hour bus drive away from Union Station)... go downtown super ****ing early, go to a bar near the ACC to watch the Jays, go to the Leaf game at around 7 since ceremonies will make puck drop closer to around 7:30.

I mean, he took 1 AB in the DS, ideally he isn't getting into a single game anyway, you might as well replace him with some versatility. If something were to happen, JB would be the first to play 1B I think, otherwise probably Goins or Barney.

Pretty creative option though, IMO. I figured Loup would be the one to get axed, but I guess they want to keep that 3rd lefty in the pen.

I'd rather have Loup as an option too instead of Feldman.

I'd rather have Barnes than both and Tepera but can understand the reluctance to trust him. Hopefully he makes the team full time next year

The ceremony apparently starts at 5:30 tomorrow hahaha

Poor timing for that.
