Lekkerimäkis shot is really something else. Everybody in the arena, even the guy not watching the game who sells pop corn, knows its coming yet he scores on the one-timer again and again.. and again.

Any space to shoot and this kid hits the bullseye.

I know he's shooting at an unsustainable rate but what a release he has.
I don’t think he is. He has 30+ shot leading the tournament. With 7 goals which would make his shooting percentage around 20% for a shot and release that good not super unsustainable.

Interesting that Mike Johnston saying the American goal that got Willander is a set play.

It makes you make a decision as a d-man
But you just can’t sit on the fence like Willander

USA is just more hungry and faster. Seems like a heavy uphill battle for Sweden now with that weak goal

Sweden saved their worst game for the gold medal game. Mediocre goaltending hasn't helped.

USA just straight up outworking the Sweds and taking shots from everywhere.

3-4 gaffes by Swedens goalie that were costly. He was good the rest of the game. Swedens D was atrocious for the 2nd and 3rd including our guys. Lek and the forwards were pretty great but dont play like a team

Bad goaltending for Sweden, too bad as Havelid’s had a great tournament. Mike Johnson was going on about how high sticks aren’t penalized if you swing at a puck and touch it, but are penalized if you swing at a puck and miss it, because the former is considered a follow through. Is this really true? Dumb distinction if so.
