World Junior Championship starts Dec. 19, Dec. 21 in Ottawa

In a tournament, keep playing 4 on 4 OT until someone scores. In the NHL, I can see not wanting to force players to keep playing on. Long enough season as it is - would love to see 3 on 3 for 5 mins after 4 on 4 but I would understand if players objected.

All good points. Before the season started I wanted him in junior. But those first few game I thought he was incredible. Especially the Colorado game when he was carrying Michalek and smith. And then the kid line. I would send him back now. Rangers sent duclair back.

Problem is, Ottawa is in make-moves-at-cheap-costs mode to try to make the playoffs (ie short term gains), meaning Lazar will be back on the team regardless of what's best for his development.

we have enough roster players and guys in the ahl who could replace lazar

the sens believe he is ready for the nhl and thus he is playing in the NHL.
