I said this at the beginning of the year. He definitely could although I am happy for him to get another year at UND and have the WJC experience. More maturity will help him when he comes into the NHL and into this organization.

I just hope when he comes at the end of the year that we don’t go on some pointless win streak and pick at 9 or 10.

Some line shuffling. I like those top 3 lines.
Guenther on l4 .. is a little surprising but l3 has not changed since they got started I think they like that line. Can't say I mind Bourgault and Bourque up on L1 and L2.. that 2nd line looks like it could do some damage if l1 can attract a top line or a shutdown line.

Kemell, Jiricek and Nemec are the main players I wanna keep an eye out for

Lots of guys I’ll be interested to see on that Slovak team with Nemec, Slafkovsky, and Dvorsky (2023).

I’ll also be curious to see legacies like Oliver Stumpel (Josef’s son) and Rayen Petrovicky (Robert’s son). Their stats aren’t every impressive, but fun to watch their styles.

I think the Russians are going to be fun to watch.
Look forward to Yurov 2022 and Michkov 2023
Like Canada they have gone with an all lefty D corps.
Askarov 3rd WJC could be a difference maker.

Lots of interest in Team USA with Sanderson and Kleven both returning
Looking forward to see Cooley 2022. He and James are both eligible forwards. James went undrafted last year.
Drew Commesso had to withdraw last year due to Covid... He should be good this year.

Sweden should be good. An older team made up of mostly drafted players . Wallstedt will be a factor.

Chechia looking forward to seeing Jiricek(2022) and Kulich (2002)

Slovakia looking forward to a bunch ; Very young team.. next year they could be a force.
Nemec(2022) , Kmec 2022 (plays in the WHL 6'3 198 RD) not ranked on most lists, Mesar (2022) , Slafkovsky(2022), Dvorsky (2023)

Finland Kemell(2022) , Lambert(2022) and our own Jarventi and Levi Merilainen .. who I hope gets played
