Boo. Shootout wins are the pretty much the worst thing. I'd prefer pretty much anything other than a blow out shut out against than a shoot out win. Empty points for a tank effort? No thanks.

Reimer kept us in. We got completely outplayed in first 50 minutes.

Got back in last 15 minutes and shootout.

Despite bad goal allowed today, Reimer is on a crazy tear right now: .971, .971, .956, .955, .945, .936 in his last 6 starts.

That is ridiculous.

He also has like 90% of the Leafs points this year.

Trade value is at an all time high!!!

So I'm starting to like the core again.

Babcock is the core

Bernier has 1 OT/SO loss, Reimer has gotten everything else.

Yep. It's night and day compared to the second half of last season. I love it. Watching the Leafs is enjoyable again.

I honestly don't even care about the tank anymore. Let the chips fall where they may.

If we have Babcock as coach, this team will work as hard as they can or watch from the bench.

Terrible game overall, getting out competed/worked whole game. Hopefully this doesn't come a trend.

It evens out in the end I guess.

They're not going to have their A game 82 times a year...it was an off night but they kept working hard and Reimer was outstanding again. We get 2 points..now off to Boston.

Man, Carolina is a solid possession team. Very strong defensively and they control the puck well.

But damn do they suck offensively. Leafs actually had MORE scoring chances from medium and high danger areas.

If Carolina could figure out how to take more shots from more dangerous areas they would actually be a really good team.

Well the key is not having consecutive bad games. So we'll see how they do tomorrow.

Reimer didn't let a stinky goal in since Nashville and was solid in the last two game without any effy goals but the media wont get off his back.

Oven then stomach
Babcock and Reimer win again

This team has zero skill or talent or offense yet were winning games

Guess goalies and coaches are important

I'd give Babcock a star if I could. He's continually putting struggling players in positions to succeed unlike Carlyle, Wilson, Maurice. Coaching makes a huge difference.
