Grit isn't a ****ing attribute, it's euphemism.

grit is fine. But not at the expense of skill players like Tyler Johnson, Phil Kessel and even Bobby Ryan who I would of had on this team over Abdelkader.
Then there is leaving Justin Faulk off the team as well. so much fail by everyone involved.

I blame Brian Burke more than I do John Tortorella & Dean Lombardi. I ultimately think he was the big string puller here in this whole thing. The inside access thing ESPN did with the roster selection back in 2014 Sochi lends credence to this belief for me. Burke was by the most outrageous & out of touch member there which included Lombardi & Homer.
