Training camp roster will be announced tomorrow.

http://www.iltasanomat.fi/jaakiekko/art-1448768295518.html
TC roster will be announced December 7th.

On that Rantanen article, there isn't any new information. Rantanen will come if he's playing in the AHL in mid-December. It's looking good, but nothing definite yet. Kapanen it looks like will be coming since there is no chance he will called up to the Leafs.

Pretty much this. It's all a confirmation of things we've been able to deduce already. Both will be there if they're not recalled. That's all.

...well, there were some dogs that weren't sleeping regarding Kapanen. Guess they are now.

Apparently Bob Mckenzie said on tsn radio that Leafs probably don't let Nylander or Kapanen to the WJC, although the Leafs hasn't said anything. I would take that trade off in a heartbeat. There is a thread about it in the Prospects section

Finland U20 team's head coach Jukka Jalonen, visited in north america few weeks ago.
He was watching for, Finnish OHL players to world juniors.

He also saw one Toronto Marlies AHL game, and he talked with Kasperi Kapanen.
Kapanen wants and he'll come to world juniors, if / when Toronto will release him.

Also Mikko Rantanen is coming to world juniors, if Colorado wont call him up NHL before world juniors.
Jalonen expects Kapanen and Rantanen, will be Finland's roster when puck drops against Belarus 26th December.

That was two weeks ago or so and was nothing but pundit speculation. Jalonen, however, said two days ago that Kapanen gets to come if he isn't recalled (which is highly unlikely).

Dunno if the Leafs have double standards concerning Nylander, since he appears to be a bit higher on the depth chart. But that's for the Swedes to worry.

Leadership from both the Finnish and the Swedish national teams have indicated that the players in question will be released, and I'm inclined to trust their take on the matter(which is based on actual discussions with the team) over press speculation(which could be completely made up for all we know). Oh, and then there's this.

What time is the roster announced? Or are they having one of those Leijona lunches again?

We should really concentrate all this talk to one thread already.

In any case, the group has no "scandalous" omissions. Only player I expected to see on the list who isn't there is Joel Kiviranta, but of course he's not a part that isn't easily replaceable.
