May as well start the thread with a bang, voted Stanley. I think outve what's left he's the most likely to make NHL, even if it's a bottom pairing D.

I have really liked Harkins since we first drafted him. I hope to see him in at Jets uniform soon.

I'm surprised you're not voting for Poolman 2.0 for that reason.

Kovacevic is very similar to your boy.

Kovacevic
6'3, 215 lbs
Summer baby (July)
Put up 19 points in 36 games as a freshman @ 19yo

Poolman
6'4, 216 lbs
Summer baby (June)
Put up 18 points in 40 games as a freshman @ 20yo

Both are big bodies that like to play physical but won't chase the play for a hit, while also having solid mobility and puck sense. Two-way defenders that play the dzone well, bruise the opponent, get the puck, and move it out with a sound first pass. Will jump into play in the offensive zone when required but not much of risk takers. Both are late bloomers with late growth spurts.

Ya. My next two votes are Samberg then Kovacevic. I like both and don't see much of a gap. But I still like Stanley to be a good bottom pair guy.

Still waiting for that first bid. I'm both easy and cheap. First bid gets it.

If I don't get a bid soon I'm voting Stanley.

Yep. Add Gawanke.

I think Appleton has to at least be added to the list. Almost a point per game player in his 2nd year in the N.C.A.A . Led his team in points and play and has been voted Captain of his team this year in his third year in college.

I think he is still a few picks away in the voting ranking, but he should be on the ballot already.

Edit ..... Oh yah..... Harkins is getting short end of the stick (Petans).

Harkins and then Foley. I am not voting for a high schooler in the top ten until he at least plays against men in College.

He was going to stay away from college until 2018-19 year as he thought he was going get burried by depth. He only commited to go to college this year when some of the depth in front of him went pro.

I want Sam-berg to turn out as well but not gifting him a top 10 hf Jet prospect spot until he does something to deserve it.

The Jets just drafted him in the 2nd round for a reason, so I can understand why he's in the top 10 of Jets HF prospects. However, I went with your rationale and didn't vote for him but went Harkins instead (who I voted for since about #3 or #4 :) ).

Voting Samberg here. Really liked what I saw from him at development camp and from some of the highlight videos. Has the potential to be a good two-way puck moving defenceman with a good shot.
