They are already doing it...trade Nylander after he gets his $17 million on his contract in July 1st.

So ... that`s what it losks like if a "cup contending team" is NOT saved solely by goaltending (due to poor defensive/offensive play). Interesting. Where are our two or three extra goals becaus it is an "open" game"?
Where was the insurance (goal aka the brilliant power play) ?
How are we to survive several rounds of play-off hockey? (considering that bottom teams can clog us down)

Every game starts with the score pretty even and any team can lose to any other team.

Just give us game where both teams give their best effort ... and that should favor the Leafs.

The good thing is Nylander is not the savior so there's no reason for anyone to relax.

Andersen is the only savior on this team, but even Sparks can step up.

Love to see a crushing though!!!!

He actually looked better than I thought he would for his first game.

Was able to keep up with the speed, made a few nice zone entries and a few nice pass's.

Don't see how anyone could be upset with his first period considering the circumstance.

Looked fine actually, for first sniff.

Sparks can be good or an utter tire fire. No one outside of the Kadri line is having a good game. But the battle right now is for Sparks to manage to save more pucks than he's letting in the net.

Sparks is not a NHL goalie. Period.
Even if your team is playing like crap you GOTTA save that last goal.
I have said it before and I will say it again...I MISS MCBACKUP. I just don't see what Dubas EVER saw in Sparks...

I assume. A chance. He won the Calder for the Marlies. It's bad practice to just move on from your MVP.
It shows players playing in the AHL that they have a chance to make the team. So if you want to find those reclamation projects, they feel like they seriously have a shot.
