He actually looked better than I thought he would for his first game.

Was able to keep up with the speed, made a few nice zone entries and a few nice pass's.

Don't see how anyone could be upset with his first period considering the circumstance.

It’s a scary thought that any NHL GM would have Sparks on their roster.

Something I can agree with. The guy is one of the worst tenders I have ever seen in the NHL. I think it's a Jeff Reese or Peter Ing timewarp.

Best part of that gongshow of a period was the new third line looks awesome.

Johnsson and Kapanen will create more chances for Kadri.

It could be the makings of a nice shutdown/counter line.

Leafs have had to swap lines a lot with Matthews then Nylander returning so may take a few games to gel.

I'm not too worried, too much talent to not win games.
