It’s okay Hicketts will do what he has always done: exceed expectations and prove the non believers wrong.

That said, as a big Hicketts fan, it’s hard to place him any higher than 8 or 9 right now

Hope you're right, I doubt there's more than a single poster or two who are not rooting for him.

The only prospect will start next season with red wings is Hicketts and you people so low on him, I don't understand

He is really fun to watch, but I just don't think he has a very high ceiling as an NHL player at this point. He is very smart and pretty skilled, but his size and mobility (at his size) will prevent him from becoming a really effective NHL player. I would hope that our organization outgrows Joe Hicketts if that makes any sense.
