Hey if I have learned nothing from people on this board it's that if Crosby wants it he will "change his game" and do what is needed to get it. He is winning all the awards this season IF he wants to that is.

Hard to bet against Ovechkin, but i think there's bound to be some degree of "Stanley Cup hangover" next season. Just from the long season and both mental and physical fatigue that comes with that and a shorter summer (filled with festivities and celebration), as well as from the inevitable let down after finally having secured that elusive championship ring.

So i'll go with Laine. The heir apparent as a pure goal-scorer, and someone who seems extremely hungry.

My dark horse pick is Tarasenko, who absolute has the goal-scoring ability to do it, and will have some quality center depth now to potentially bounce back in a big way this year.
