He had a career high season for points, if the Pens finishing was even league average he probably hits 40+ points. If they had made the playoffs it might be more like 50

He also did literally have a breakout year... just as their clearcut best defensive defenseman

Congrats, he had 8 more points than his best season because he played an extra 2min per game, and was partnered with Erik Karlsson. That's not a breakout campaign, especially as he produced half of what you thought he would do.
