Jonathan Huberdeau only had one thread made about him this year and I rarely see his name mentioned in threads. Yet he finished 12th in points ahead of players like Scheifele, Giroux, Ovechkin, Panarin, Tavares and Wheeler while having a higher PPG.

I remember that main board thread saying Sebastian Aho should get consideration for the Hart Trophy because he was a one-man-army-offense on the Hurricanes. I replied, "not really, they also have Teräväinen".

"OMG, :help: are you serious !€%&¥!!¢‰&%/!!" was the answer.

Not long thereafter Teräväinen was picked off the Aho line, but continued to put up points with wicked offenseman Jordan Staal whereas Aho fell back to earth, and at seasons end Aho finished only 7 points ahead.

Alex DeBrincat 41 goals, 35 assists, 76 points, a buck over 17 minutes avg ice time / game
- from 30 & 40 (50) goal scorers he had the least ice time per game.

He did get plenty of ice time more what to his rookie season; from 14 minutes to 17 minutes,
next season hoping for at least 20 minutes avg of ice time.

- it would be foolish not to expect 50 goal, 90-100 point season from him

From the sophomore's, Alex was by far the best,
1. DeBrincat: 76 points, 2. Connor: 66 points, 3. Barzal: 62 points, 4. Dubois: 61 points, 5. Strome: 57 points

Most goals in a single season (2016 draftee):

Jake Guentzel.

I had no clue he was that close away from 40 when he tied the game.

I also has no clue Leon draisatl was anywhere near 100 points or chasing down the scoring title until a week ago.
