If you looking at Swedens games against Russia and Slovakia you cant deny that Sweden where vey lucky.

Austria and Sweden is the weakest teams in WJC so far.

Sweden can only end up last if all teams in the group end up in six points. To see that happen, following results are needed (all in regulation)
Slovakia beats Russia
USA beats Sweden
Slovakia beats Switzerland
Switzerland beats Sweden
Russia beats USA

Additionally, Sweden would need to have the worst goal differential of all teams. They are currently +6, so they would need to lose their two remaining games by a total of seven goals or more.

Sweden is on top of their group with two wins at the moment and they've already beaten Russia.

They are nowhere close to relegation.

No relegation this year as mentioned several times. Which is weird because there will be an 11 team tournament next year with Belarus in the show and probably with double-relegation rules.

Austria seriously should count their immense luck getting to be in the top division three years running off of a clutch but somewhat flukey 2019 Div A performance.
