Edmonton but I guess that's kinda obvious

You mean you want them to lose every game every year forever, right?
That's the only obvious thing I can think of with regard to them.
Although, if you were born in the late 80's or later, I guess I can understand you don't have the same grudge the older ones like me have. Nor do I expect you to hold on to grudges as insanely tightly and permanently as I do.

Hate them all honestly...but voted Caps as Ive always been a big OV fan

Edit: Now that I think about I also would love to see Chicago take it again. 2010 is water under the bridge to me and Its crazy to me that people dont call that team a dynasty when they definitely are

They definitely aren't, unless you change what the word means.

However, I totally agree with you more generally that they are the closest thing you can be to a dynasty in the present circumstances. What they have accomplished is amazeballs, really.

The three in a row rule is antiquated af. Winning three in six in a cap era is completely comparable imo

I agree with you, but we have to find a different word for it, because dynasty doesn't suit it. Maybe "era-adjusted dynasty" or something lol. It's not the three in the row that really sticks out to me, but the fact that the Bruins and Kings have each won two in the same period. I see this as nearly identical to the Red Wings/Avs/Devils triumvirate of the 90s/00s period. The fact that there were three of them, then and now, is what keeps the Hawks from being a dynasty. But they also haven't won back to back, and that gives me pause. Maybe "minorsty" is a word, although that makes it sound like a tiny pig pen.

It's just semantics in the long run, but I really care about words. The fact remains that, like you said, they have done a great job.

I guess I just look at from a personnel perspective. I dont consider the Devils/Avs to be dynasties.

Devils won three in like 8 years was it? Avs won two pretty spread out.

Two in a row is a dominant team but three in at least six shows me longevity and continuity not just in team personnel but in the front office as well.

To me its got to be at least 3 and to match or overtake the field in those years to get them so 3 in 6 is valid 4 in 7 or 8, etc.

Haha, yea I was born in the early 90's so I guess that explains that.

I have been on a (healthy) diet since September and it is working like a charm.
But around this time every night, after I've chucked out my evening dip, I start to get hungry. And also in the morning. And most afternoons.

yeah the wife and I both are trying to do a better job at eating better and watching how much we eat. It isnt always easy. But we have one "cheat" night a week so that helps with staying on track. I have a weakness for calzone and pasta so it isnt always easy.
But we are getting off the subject title.

I'm still gonna root for Nashville as I like Rinne and I like Lavi.

I'll probably root for Columbus second for Hartnell and Bob
