It's ridiculous that someone said wo/ speed McDavid is nothing special

Well going skill by skill nothing really jumps out with McDavid. It's just ridiculous that he can do things while accelerating that other people do while coasting. So not so much speed but the ability to do things while going fast.

The Bure comparison makes the most sense. I don't understand the Forsberg and Datsyuk ones at all though.

Although I agree, winning 1 playoff round is terrible. Im sure someone will call my facts trolling. Edmonton has 1 playoff series win in the last 12 years. Anyone disagree? Im posting facts. Is this the worst team in the entire NHL? I think so....

I agree, but he'd still be a #1C if he had average speed, just in the 10-15 range instead.

-Im just making sure no one was warned, considered trolling, hating Mcdavid, etc.. These are the actual results of the Edmonton Oilers the last 12 years. Its simple facts of where they are in the NHL. Its a fact they dont make the playoffs. Its a fact in the last 12 years the Oilers made the playoffs 1 time in 12 years, a league worst, at an 8% overall playoff rate. Its a fact this team is the bottom of the NHL by looking at the results above. In 12 years time the Oilers have finished better then 3rd twice in their own division in th eworst division in the NHL. Facts hurt too when its the truth.

McDavid and Kovalchuk score a lot of the same type of goals at 5 on 5. McDavid doesn't have his one timer but they both like to skate through an entire team and score on break aways.
