It's very unusual that a firstrounder ends up not playing a single game, theres only 1-3 of theese kids in every first round.
Statistically it should be a Canadian kid since theres so many canadians taken in the first round. Looking at the drafts 1996-2005 thers 9 canadians that was drafted in the first round and never played a single NHL-games. Theres 3 americans that was firstrounders and never played a game in the same period (now that Jessiman got a game
). That's the second most likely nationality, which is not at all surprising given the amount of american firstrounders. Then it's very evenly spread among the european countries.
