also i should add that the NCHC made changes to the schedule, they played the first half of the season in a pod but the 2nd part of the season won't be. It was slated to be 3 game series but they reduced it to 2 game series. Not sure how playing 2 instead of 3 makes things that much safer but whatever.

so part 2 of the NCHC season starts on Saturday for Biondi's team which plays SCSU 6 times, WMU 4 and Miami 4 to finish the regular season. Stapley's team starts on Friday, they play CC 6 times, North Dakota 4 times, UNO 4.

In addition the Big 10 2nd half schedule is out, they start back on the 9th vs the top team in the NCAA Minnesota who they play 4 times, same for Michigan St, 2 vs Michigan, ASU, Penn St, Ohio St and Notre Dame.

So Caufield has 18 games left, Biondi/Stapley have 14 games left, Struble/Harris have 18 games left, BU who knows.

Syracuse Crunch owner Howard Dolgon says,

"Dolgon also echoes Kelly McCrimmon's comments last week about the potential for CHL players going to the AHL if one (or all) of those leagues doesn't play"

also,

There is much to be considered before AHL play can begin, including if each of the league’s 31 teams can participate in the season. Esche and Syracuse Crunch owner Howard Dolgon said that teams will have to make the decision to opt in or out of the season by Monday.

Dolgon said he believes the Rochester Americans also want to play this season. He wasn’t sure about the Binghamton, which is the fourth New York-based AHL team. Discussions are taking place between teams and their NHL affiliates, Dolgon said.
Dolgon has said he’s personally in favor of playing this year, though his team's schedule could be as few as 20 games. Though, it is possible other AHL teams could play a varying amount of contests. The schedule likely will be regional in an effort to reduce travel and overnight hotel stays.

“We’re going in anticipating we’re not going to have any revenue," Dolgon said. "It’s just going to be how much are we prepared to lose and there is a limit to that for everybody. We’d like to play. The dialogue’s going to be open and honest, and we’ll respect (parent team Tampa Bay's) decision and they’ll respect ours. Hopefully, we agree on a fair deal to move forward. If we can’t, I would respect that and I hope they respect us.”
For AHL teams, there’s also roster considerations with their parent teams. Because of the coronavirus, NHL teams can have a "taxi squad" of four to six players, which would alter AHL rosters from what they usually look like. NHL teams are set to begin training camps in preparation for their Jan. 13 season start. Restrictions at the U.S.-Canadian border also alter things, which is where the dual affiliations would factor in. Additonally, the Comets have not announced any players signed to AHL deals for t

American Hockey League still targeting Feb. 5 for start of 2021 season

Hopefully this will not be pushed back again, but BU has released all of their home games today, for their various sports. Their men's hockey should get going next Friday on the 8th. So we'll finally get to watch Tuch.

Hockey East has come out and said that they are getting rid of the rest of the seasons schedule and will just put out a new schedule every week.

Northeastern's games for this weekend have been canceled, one player got covid but they didn't say who.

I posted it in the Laval thread. But Renaud Lavoie confirmed that with the WHL and OHL still unsure when they will return, all of the CHL prospects will be at Laval's camp, starting this Friday.

So Guhle, Mysak, Fairbrother, and LeGuerrier will be with the Rocket until further notice.

So hockey east is doing the schedule week to week. Looks like still no Northeastern games again this weekend but Tuch will be in tough vs BC on Friday and Saturday at 6 pm. I will post highlights of the games at some point as I'll likely watch Caufield's games vs Michigan State first.
