I don't want to come across as stupid but I have no clue what this chart is saying. Maybe a little explanation? Thanks.

With Nate moving just 4 points out of the Art Ross lead, on the back of a 4 game goal streak and 17 points in his last 8 games; this seemed like a good time to bump this guy again.

So when does MacK catch Kuch?

GREATNESS is subjective, but to me, before I rank someone among the tops I like to see consistency in point totals.

I don't like to see a guy finish outside the top 50, then in the top ten and repeat.

Guys like Blake Wheeler, Brad Marchand, Kucherov, Tarasenko, are proving they are main stays in the top 25 for example.

Not saying Mackinnon isn't, but I would like to see him do this most seasons.

He's still only 22, most of the players mentioned started putting up consistent points around the same age or older

Yeah, people don't realize that MacK won't turn 23 until the start of next season. He's been around forever but that's cause he & Barkov started just about as young as the rules allow. So when some of these others they get compared to got an extra few years before even hitting NHL ice, these two were playing key roles for their teams. Now that MacK's hitting those peak years we're seeing what he's fully capable of.

low-key Hart worthy season if Colorado makes the playoffs

- this is coming from a Barkov is the best 2013 drafted poster

Is it really low key though? Right now he’s the #2 candidate.

Haven't been keeping track of the hart conversation but yeah looking at it he shouldn't be a low key nom.. Obvious lock if he finishes 2nd in scoring as he is right now, and a threat to win against Kucherov if playoffs

They are so completely different. Really not similar at all.
Wow comparing nate mackinnon to a generational talent like Matthews could have you burned at the stake around these parts
Nah he's got way better vision but his shot isn't nearly as good as Ovi's. Also think Ovechkin is much more physical.

Guys look at these 2 goals - skating style and ETC. He looks so similar to Ovie - especially young Ovie - 100 % similar - and Im only about playing style
Look at 1.21 Ovie skating - they like twins
