Trocheck has 5 goals in 29 games, that’s an avg over barely over 14 goals...that scares me a little. Considering he doesn’t utilize his wingers much his whole game revolves around goal scoring. If he’s not doing that then...

His scoring was bound to go down as the team added more scorers. His playmaking has been better as of late but a lot of his goals came on the PP last year, Hoffman has stole a bit of his thunder on that front.
He's paired with two shooters now in Dadonov and Hoffman. They all can't be scoring at the same time.

Trocheck should be playing with Malgin and Brassard maybe. He doesn't ever look to pass so playing him with skilled wingers is kind of pointless.

Malgin is a pass first guy and Brassard is very gifted offensively so he can adapt. Tro is just too selfish of a player to play with another sniper.
