Yeah, if anything, hockey gloves and sticks are the best equipments to "display" and hold decent re-sale value (special edition ones) - at least in my opinion.

I just wish I was 6'0 or 6'1 so I don't have to cut down my sticks. Would be much easier to sell on secondary markets.

And I gotta say, the Eagles have amazing build quality. Well crafted and durable gloves.

I got the One95 3 years ago at a monkey, it was the last one on clearance in my exact specs, couldn't pass off course lol.

I got the XXXX for dirt cheap new from a former Bauer warranty rep this past fall.

I'm not hard on my sticks haha

Just picked up a pair of Sherwood N10 gloves on clearance. Pretty nice gloves. A little different from the 4 rolls I've been using since the 90's, but I like em, and they were dirt cheap.

Also picked up a clearance warrior widow stick. The blade feel is different from the eastons I've been using for the last 3 years, but I like the stick overall. Might pick up another one on the cheap while they are still out there in my pattern.

I'm playing hockey on a budget and they don't carry anything I can afford.

Why don't you go to the shop (especially if it's a small one/local one) and tell them about your budget issues and see what they can do? You don't have to buy from them if they can't make your budget.

I buy a lot online but I do buy somethings local because I value their professional guidance on some items and am willing to pay for it.

Also, if you buy from a LHS and something isn't right you should be able to go back and get some satisfaction (without having to ship stuff around).
