Based on their performance in a Canuck uniform, and leaving off current players likely to be here in the future such as Hughes or Pettersson...

D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Bure
Mogilny - Gradin - Naslund
Kesler - Linden - Bertuzzi
Smyl - Ronning - Burrows

Salo - Ohlund

Updating just a bit from when we did this in 2014. I'm only considering players at their peak as Canucks (so no Neely, no Larionov, definitely no Messier).

Sedin-Sedin-Bure
Naslund-Gradin-Linden
Bertuzzi-Kesler-Smyl
Tanti-Sundstrom-Burrows
(extras: Mogilny/Ronning)

Edler-Lidster
Ohlund-Lumme
Hamhuis-Snepsts
(extra: Salo)

Luongo
McLean

-------

— Some of those players further down the list are pretty interchangeable — I don't have strong views on Tanti vs. Mogilny vs. Ronning.

— Tanev vs Hamhuis is an interesting one. Hamhuis peaked a lot higher, but Tanev has now played 130 more games in Vancouver. If we end up re-signing him, he could very well end up on this list some day.

— Pettersson's not ready to crack the roster. He's had two very good seasons but that doesn't beat out Mogilny (one season here that was better than anything Petterson's done, one that was roughly equivalent, plus solid play for another injury-riddled few years) or Tanti (five very good seasons) or Ronning (four very good seasons plus a bunch of good playoff runs).

Thomas Gradin was such a great player. He would have been fantastic in this day and age.

No Bure?

Williams or Adams over Gradin or Mogilny is...curious.

I have left off Messier, Larionov, Sundstrom, Neely and a few others. They were obviously great players, but I was going for players who played the most significant part of their careers with the Canucks. I never thought that much of Linden for some reason. And, the Canucks have a plethora of Centres, an adequacy of right wings, and a dearth of left wingers. I include Petri Skriko, who I loved watching. Adams never got the recognition I thought he deserved. His game winning goal against the Laffs in the 2013 run put him on the list.

The first two lines would be things legends are made of. The next two...meh. I wonder what Gradin would have accomplished in a real uniform and with stronger linemates.

McLean earns a place in front of Luongo for the Calgary save.

@Art of Sedinery -Adams scored that goal against the Leafs in 1994 not 2013. In 2013, the Leafs were collapsing against the Bruins while Greg Adams was likely taking an old man nap after having played a round of golf.
