Value of: What would Quick + Doughty + Kopitar fetch to a contender in the off-season?

Just curious. I think if I was the Kings I would be open to shopping them even if its for top picks and to get up in the draft. I see a lot of teams lining up for this trio if offered.

Detroit has some room! I’ll offer up their first for the trio on their behalf

What an outlandish idea. Has something even remotely like this ever happened, where a team basically packages all star power in one deal? I can't think of anything even close to this to compare with..

3 year cap left at 5.8m actual salary 3m a year. Ottawa line 2 for a later 2.

Doughty and Kopitar still have value to a contending teams. Probably more so individually than as a package. Quick on the other hand doesn’t have much value at all I’m afraid. I guess if Campbell puts up decent numbers away from the Kong’s then someone might take a chance on him with retention or for a cap dump.

Kopitar = Dube/Mang + 1st 21 + 2nd 22 + Lucic
Doughty 20%? = Valimaki + 1st 20 + Ryan + 3rd 22 + 3rd 23(but i doubt he'd want to come here)
Quick 50% = 3rd 21 + Yeselin

No contender has that cap room, not a single one.

They are all great players but they are in the decline age wise and have massive cap hits, so if they aren't traded soon it becomes less and less likely it will ever happen.

Individually they could get a good return and with salary retention they would each return a crap ton.

The fact that someone actually thought this all through and detailed it all the way down to 3rd round picks in 2023 makes me lol.

This is nowhere near fair value. Back to the drawing board.

Doubt Edm. would give up that much for Doughty, since he's aging. I thought Edm considered Nurse their best D-men, and RNH their only good player after McDrai. On the other hand, Boston's offer for Kopitar would be too low, considering that their first would be very late in the round.
