Never play him at the NHL level again. trade him for a 2nd pairing dman if still possible. The kid had a shot and pee'd his pants. 3 years in the minors and a 1st rd pick and he looked looked awful. But he's so athletic (cough)

If a GM or scout is stupid enough to base their assessment on his first NHL game where he choked they won't have a job for long......

Do nothing with Subban other than continue to develop him.....

It's more like a year and three quarters in the minors, but reading the rest of your post, I'll just chalk it up to....never mind, infraction watch myself time....

Ha, you'd get an infraction for stating the *cough* obvious about that post?

So 1 NHL game and you consider him a bust ???? :shakehead How many games do you give a Defenseman or Forward before they fall into your " bust category " ???? ( cough )

I think we should get rid of him for a 7th rounder -- if we can get that.

I can't imagine a single scout, GM, or Coach who'd be even remotely interested after his showing against St Louis. He had approximately 31 minutes to show what he can do and that's more than enough.

You keep Subban. Let him back up Tuukka beginning possibly next year. When Tuukkas no trade opens in 2017 then you sit back and think about what the future holds..........for each of them.

I think Subban is the backup next year and Svedy moves on with Zane and another Smith type AHL/NHL tweener in Providence. Malcolm wouldn't have to clear waivers so you give him some spot starts in Providence if need be.

100% correct.

How do you think he is in shootouts, 4v4, or 3v3?

edit: Does a win count for the starter or relief goalie? Asking because I'd love to see a situation where a backup is a specialist of sorts.

Let him develop. When he is ready then the move would be to unload Rask and not have so much tied up in a goalie for few years. If he does not pan out still have Rask.Win win.And for you folks questioning Rask.Be glad Bruins have him or be really ugly year.He faces more odd man breaks then Jimmy Carter had liver pills.

.I want Subban though playing is only concern.Maybe give him another full year in minors.Sitting on bench 60 games not going to help him.But what do I know sitting here on sofa.lol
