Speaking with Screen Rant, Kevin Feige revealed the first season of What If...? will focus on stories that could have happened during the events of the first 23 films of the MCU.
Right now, we’re focusing on for the first season, everything you know about the 23 movies in the Infinity Saga and adding one twist to them and seeing how everything turns out different.

Could be interesting

I think I read somewhere that one of the examples they used is the scenario if Killmonger defeated T'Challa for good during their battle. That's a heck of a premise, and won that could draw in more casual fans who hold Black Panther in high regard.

Good. Killmonger was right.

For me, the more intriguing question would be... what if T'Challa hadn't responded immediately to Killmonger dismissively or negatively, but instead said "holy shit... I just found out about all of this myself! That was really f***ed up!" Which is how he would've responded if he followed along with his own reaction to all of it before that moment.

I would like some What Ifs that are just something like "What If The Avengers team was originally Black Panther, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, etc...

But then, they aren't going to go through the trouble/expense of recreating the Battle of New York with all new characters, so I should probably stop getting my hopes up.

Well, it's going to be a cartoon version

I’m intrigued by this idea. The comics were such a quirky fan-service thing back in the day, but they were the sort of thing that draws you a step further into the universe.

I’m not sure I’m deep enough into Marvel these days to commit to watching (there’s just too damn much) but it has the feel of being potentially another cult favorite like Star Wars: Clone Wars.

I thought the first episode was absolutely fantastic. I could have watched a two hour movie based on the premise alone, but it's another solid start to what could be a fantastic series.

Peggy flying through the air taking out planes was awesome.

That was awesome. This animation style is perfect for actions scenes. It's like the complete opposite of DC's current style. Episode one had some great action scenes. REally looking forward to the rest episodes. People who've seen the firs 3 episodes, have said each episode is better than the previous one.

I always liked reading issues of What If.

DC has historically kicked Marvel's ass when it comes to animation.

I am pleased that Disney invested in quality animation and hopefully it will continue.

It looked visually fantastic and quite clean. I enjoyed it but it's very much a fast-paced condensed movie and I don't think it has the intrigue or X-Factor of the three actual live-action shows so far.
