Honestly watch those games vs Boston and Tampa. People are letting results skew perceptions of how those games went down. Could have easily lost some games to Tampa and won some games against the Bruins. Regardless they'll be the underdog in the series so just enjoy it -- 97 points after the season the Devs had last year is very impressive

When a team ahead of you in the standing puts in their A team while you play your C team, one shouldn't expect a win if you are the C team.

The Devils made mistakes but considering the new lines and D they kept trying. I proud of that.

I am going to say this again this forum could use a dislike button to send a message when fans post stuff other than the game in the GDT. Also when fans say absolutely stupid stuff. Just my thought.

Cory didn't lose this game for us tonight, however he didn't show me enough to not allow Kinkaid to not be the Starter in the playoffs. As of now I would start Kinkaid every game in round 1.

For me Maroon is a keeper if possible for a year or two. It is very exciting to be a Devils fan we have some great young players and a few good vets.

Bring on the playoffs. We will know tomorrow I understand. I think it will be Boston.

Good night

The Devils outplayed Boston by a wide margin this year. They were thoroughly outplayed by Tampa. Don’t look at the final results.

The problem is Marchand is gonna take someone out early. Probably Hall or Hischier. The playoffs are just gravy, but I don't want any injuries to our stars.

Unless the Panthers do us a solid tomorrow and win in regulation it is Boston.

Management/Coaching staff ****ed this up royally. Not only are they now looking at the worst case scenario in terms of match-ups, but they also lost a chance to give Schneider confidence in case they need him in the playoffs by dressing half a lineup.

If what we saw from Cory tonight is any indication, the result would've been no different than if Hall and the rest were playing.

Except perhaps that Hall gets injured by Tom Wilson, that is.....

STILL A SMART MOVE BY HYNES *NOT* TO PLAY HIM.

There was no salvaging Schneider. He’s done. And NJ actually plays Boston very well despite what the record says. Add in the elbow factor and I think an upset is more than possible. I expect the Devils to be laser sharp against them.

Good night

The FACT that our C team came back from a 3-1 deficit to tie it and make it a game, speaks A LOT for our depth.

AND MAROON.

I guess we may as well not watch the games then. Thanks for the heads up:sarcasm:

We weren’t supposed to make the playoffs. Nico is a weak 1st overall. We wouldn’t survive the road trip of doom. Flordia was definitely catching us.

**** the doubters.

I'm certainly not going to doubt you after our amazing run to clinch, we're all in now, no turning back. Picking your poison and favorable matchups are for the fans, pros don't give a shit and are going to take it head on.
