I can't believe how successful such a mediocre team is. What an incredible difference a coach like Trotz makes. The isles can't afford to dog it ever because they simply don't possess the talent to dog it.

I’m not even in yet, but predicted it would already be 1-0 when I first decided to check the score at 7:17.

Then I looked again and it’s 2-0.

I’m really tired of Varlamov. How does he go from being a mediocre goalie in Colorado (by the time he left Colorado, not the entire time) to being a star here? There is some credence to the “Trotz’s system” thing. And he gives up some of the softest goals (he slipped on a banana peel a few games ago) when he actually gives up goals and isn’t getting a shutout.

And it’s not just us. It’s like most teams make him look great.
