TNA has actually been paying people, so it's not a case of them never getting paid (until now). They had some problems earlier in the year, but they caught up (and some people left to cut payroll). So while there are massive problems, the wrestlers still have been getting money form TNA.

But the important thing to understand from the wrestlers side is that TNA is a regular pay cheque.

Working the indies and making money is fine, loads of guys do it and it's good for them. But it's never a sure thing, and even less of a sure thing with a very physical job as you will (not might, will) be injured at some point. Then your money stops and it sucks

But with a TNA job you still have that regular pay coming in when you're out of action (or even just want to take a break). It's a great security net; and it's not like TNA have low pay for the workers either, it's not just pocket change.

TNA also asks very little from the wrestlers. You turn up for TV once a month at most, and then you're free the rest of the time. They also give exposure, which is very important. As much as people belittle TNA, everyone knows the stars who come form there.

So for the wrestlers, TNA is a great deal.
