Claesson's skating is definitely his biggest asset. I'd even go as far to say as he's almost a mini Methot in how he plays the game.

From what I've seen he looks like he has above average speed for an NHL dman. Bit of a funny skating style though.

He takes pass from New skates into Bridge's zone with blazing speed, slow toe-drag and picks the corner through the defender like it's nothing.

That's 2 crazy snipes so far.

BTW, Da Costa is an offensive MAGICIAN. He completely controlled the PP and then tee'd up an absolute ROCKET that hit the cross-bar. What ability. He then played keep-away in the corner boards away from 2-3 defenders.

Wideman is terrific PPQB and Hoffman looks like Duchene out there for Bingo.

Crazy talent.

Claesson just single-handedly killed a PP by himself.

He made a stick-check on upcoming forward trying to get in the zone then he consecutively hip-checked another player on the boards trying to get the loose puck. He then broke up 2 passing plays trying to go back-door and in the slot then blocked 2 shots in close and cleared it out himself. He stayed on to stop another rush and cleared it out on his back-side.

That on PK alone shows the warranted praise Claesson is getting.

It was also hilarious watching the Tigers trying to pass it around with anxiety up a man cause Pageau and Grant chased and anticipated their passes.

Holy **** man.

Tigers score to make it 3-2 then Sens come back like it's nothing and score again.

DaCosta tips it by a defender, makes a beautiful sauce to Schneider who then goes back-hand shelf.

Shades of Turris/MacArthur. More individual effort by DaCosta though.
