I'm not a picture taker, so I never understood Instagram or Snapchat. At 33 maybe I'm just behind the times but I think I'm just fundamentally not the type of person to document things I do with photos. My life is too boring anyway for anybody to care.

I'm a Video Producer in a marketing department in the Silicon Valley area. Most of our team doesn't like using social media personally. However the company I work for (Giro) wouldn't hire anyone into the marketing department if they don't have and or use them on some basis. Sounds crazy and it sucks but it's good to have. I know alot of brands in San Jose up to SF are that way as well unfortunately.

Then again it could be different elsewhere...
