I think the previous Pac 12 championship games were each on FS1, this was the first time it was on ABC AND they got the top announce team (Fowler & Herbstreit). Also, Oregon - and not USC - is their premiere program

I think they're officially introducing him as their HC tomorrow, so that won't happen. Usually doesn't happen, it's typically an interim that coaches the smaller school in their bowl games.

For what it’s worth, PJ Fleck at WMU and Scott Frost at UCF coached their respective bowl games before heading off to new pastures

I would say I'm surprised that the ACC schools have won 11 but I remember NC State doing so with Philip Rivers and I think UNC won 11 a few years ago, so it's definitely happened.

Looks like the 2006 Wake Forest team and the 1991 ECU team also did this. Best Duke has ever done is 10 in 2013 it appears.
