Nah thats not how it works. When McDs pays 15 dollars a hour Big Macs will cost 8 bucks. Those people will still not have anymore disposable income. Those people making 20 a hour will have less. There is a real inflation amount and wages do need to be adjusted for that, but artificially doubling it for "living wage" bullshit will help no one.
Also there are starter level jobs like fast food, they are not and should not be careers and used to raise a family, no one should ever work there for more than 2 years at the entry position if you still are you are making zero effort to better yourself and its not the nations fault you are not making enough money to live.
