IMO - in the third period, the Canucks got the puck into the St. Louis zone and attacked and pressured. The best defense is attacking their defense 200 feet from your own net. Definitely think that style of play is going to be crucial to our chances tomorrow night.
Keep the shifts short so that our guys are still flying out there like yesterday's game.

Every single team from the play-in round in the west is gone. We are the only ones left... lets hope the hockey gods are smiling at us.

This is a good thing. If they beat the Blues, they either will get spanked by the Golden Knights or pull off the upset. If they by some miracle knock off the Blues and Golden Knights, I don't see how they suddenly don't become the favorites. It would be a typical Canuck thing to do, to go all the way in a season where there's a huge asterix next to it.
The thing with our young players... the ceiling is still very high... if they can break out and keep progressing, then we could go far.. that's why it is imperative that we win this series so that our players get the chance to show more on what they can do.

If they can replicate the level of effort that they had Wednesday night, Canucks have a good shot here. Blues are gonna come out firing, but as long as we win those 50/50 puck battles and get the PP going, we're golden.
Interesting to see how this young core handles themselves. I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid just yet on this comp, but it is worth noting that the Blackhawks in Kane/Toews' first two playoff years were 4-1 (only loss coming to the 2010 Canucks) in the games were they had a chance to end their opponent's season. Might be meaningless, but having that killer instinct early on would be a great sign of things to come for our young core.

One of the Avs/Knights are unavoidable no matter what. C'est la vie. We still gotta beat the Blues first.
The thought of playing against the knights scares me, that team is way too good.
