If it’s a gash that needed stitches that would be the best case scenario. But a skate to the head area would require him to go through concussion protocol IMO.

Whew. Edler probably just had to get a lot of stitches and wait for the blood to coagulate.

I think Dhaliwal said earlier this week that Myers is 7-10 days, meaning probably the whole series. May be available at the start of the second round (if we get there).

The Blues aren't going to like what they see on the tape from game #5. Soft plays on both Miller's goal and Motte's second goal. JV easily retrieved the puck behind the net on Miller's goal and who ever it was that Motte stole the puck from in the neutral zone was in lala land. Expect the Blues to use that to motivate much more intensity in game #6. But I also expect that the Canucks will be expecting this. Should be a battle.

Good early news on Edler. I'm sure he'll be wearing the full face shield tomorrow. I still wouldn't mind seeing Juolevi dressed as a 7th D for that game. I'm more worried about our defence getting worn out than our forwards.

Horvat was excellent last night. If you're waiting for another end to end rush Hughes might be a better option for you.
