This is definitely league mandated. The Refs are just following the league offices instructions on how they want this series to play out.

It definitely seems that way. Gotta get at least 6 games out of McDavid in the first round where we hardly have to pay those pesky players.

I might be going against the grain here but I have to say I respect Pavelski's toughness. He has taken a ton of whacks this game and is still going into the tough areas. He could easily just float around with the game in hand.

He does dive but there are worse things in this world.
