This and Quick reverting back to god-mode are what concern me most moving forward. We HAVE to get depth scoring in the playoffs for once this century, otherwise we won't be going very far.

Quick can steal a game at any time, but he's definitely beatable. He was also bound to have one of these games after getting lit up for 4 goals in game 1, when he really didn't play that poorly. Although the Pavelski wraparound was borderline, he probably stops it if he stuffs it short side instead of far side. Just the percentages evening out.

I remember hearing by many people how Niemi had one of the worst playoffs for a cup winning goaltender ever, but Jonathan Quick two years ago was not much better. Before the Rangers series in the SCF, Quick had a .906 save percentage for the first 21 games of the playoffs. He ended with a .911 save percentage after facing the Rangers and playing 80 periods of OT. The Rangers were probably his and LA's weakest competition that playoffs. Lundqvist played amazing, and they still won in only 5. Albeit with a zillion minutes of extra time.
