I've taken a hiatus from the boards during offseason so late on commenting on this signing. I like it. He has the cup experience, scoring touch, and versatile enough for different lines. I'm liking what the Caps have done this offseason, especially given the age of the team.

I remember Sheary who dove embellished injury in the loffs a few years back when in reality he was fearful of getting trucked by Willy. Pretended he had a broken leg and the refs bought right in back in Willy's peak targeting by the league

I am a Pens fan, but I hope Sheary works out for you guys - I've always liked him. He's got a ton of skill and can make big plays. Not going to be consistent but can win you some games. That right there is worth the contract.

Sprong...maybe he figures it out? If not you need players for the Bears too right?
