Sometimes it seems that off-ice antics hurt player's trade value way more than what happens on-ice, I'm curious to see what the Caps get trading him. It might be lower than many people think.

The Kuznetsov to Calgary idea makes a lot of sense to me. Calgary is stuck in mediocrity and could use a player of Kuznetsov's skill for sure. Too bad Monahan has been sinking his value, a 1 for 1+ trade would've made sense a year ago.

If Washington is stupid enough to trade him, Minnesota should be all over it, pair him with Kaprizov (Sp?)

Assuming Caps would pull the trigger they need someone equally or almost as good C back.. Assuming Kuzy has Detroit on NTC list.. Assuming Yzerman would be interested in breaking the team apart even more in front of the rebuild... Assuming Samsonov is under the same gun as Kuzy..

How abotu 3 way deal!

To Capitals; Dylan Larkin
To Nashville; Evgeny Kuznetsov
To Detroit; Ryan Johansen, Ilya Samsonov, NSH draft pick

Caps; Kuznetsov + Samsonov <-> Larkin
Preds; Johansen + pick <-> Kuznetsov
Wings; Larkin <-> Johansen, Samsonov, pick

ummmh...

Call within the next 15 minutes and the Capitals will include a bonus Lucas Johansen absolutely free!

Send him to Washington, they have a strong core. Ovechkin will keep him straight.

Wow, he was the difference maker on their only Cup team. Caps can't even get past the second round without him hulking out.
He can be pretty fantastic offensively when he feels like it, that's the problem. His defense/giveaways/lazy penalties/faceoff skill is what hurt's him the most. When he's not scoring he's not doing anything else either.

It’s kinda a fun idea, but given everything we know about GM Guerin, Kuznetsov seems like one of the last players he’d bring in.

Huh, that'd be unfortunate if they had to trade him because of off-ice stuff
