Be in a protected suite is a good way to go to a flyers game!Into the lair of the Hivemind?! Hard pass….
….seriously though, long ago I once went to a game in Philly with another regular here, both of us wearing a Caps jersey’s and we actually sat in the Comcast suite, eating and drinking….my buddy wearing a Kieth Jones Caps (#26?), but he was working on the Flyers broadcast team. He came into the suite to eat between periods, and we briefly met him. Nice moment to see him recognize my buddy was wearing his Caps sweater. We ended up losing that game, but the crowd was vocal, but civil to us.
This game is going to be a hostile environment. No way I would go tonight as an opposing fan.
I love Philadelphia. It's a great city. I love living here. In particular, it's nice being able to... afford things.
Elliot Fridman said that since the Flyers need a reguation win, if the game is tied with two minutes left they have to pull the goalie to try to score. Which means we can clinch on an Ovie empty net GWG. Please god let this happen.
We are starting this game up 0.5 goals essentially.
My only trip to Philly in last 10 years - tried the enjoy a overhyped cheesesteak while a homeless guy relieved himself near all the dining tables and then proceeded to sit down and drink his 40 ounce. Of course no one says anything its just the way things are.I love Philadelphia.
Food scene is amazing, beer options are incredible w Philly being the only real Russian River oasis this side of the Mississippi River.
People are assholes but like quick to hug it out after
This is greedy! You claimed it yesterday in Melbourne and today in North America. But it worked yesterday so I’m all for it!It’s my North American birthday. Win or I cry.
Game 82 and we can still make it.
When were the Caps eliminated last year? I mean mathematically.
Have faith. They didn't lay eggs last night, they dealt a goose egg to the Broons, who needed that game.I have a bad feeling. Every time they’ve been expected to show up in a big game this year they lay an egg. Please be different tonight.

Our 3-5-2 surely strikes fear in their heartsKind of have a bad feeling about the game tonight, but the fact Philly is 2-6-2 in their last 10 makes me a little more optimistic.
