Glad they are giving there Marlies depth a chance to play in the bottom 6. Rather not waste a draft pick for a Blackwell type when maybe a Steeves or Anderson can do the same.

I think the leafs add depth and don’t make any moves this deadline.

they can't make big moves because there is no cap left IMO

everyone knows leafs are desperate so if retention is involved it will cost massive overpayments or it would have to be cap for cap trade

Why the hell are the Leafs having to wait until the next Friday after the All-Star Break to play their first game back? It makes no sense and apparently the league schedule builders have never heard of rust before.

17 of the 32 teams are in the same situation.....already using LTIR.

Leafs have $2 million or so in LTIR space if they run a 21 man roster.

The Leafs situation is better than roughly half the teams in the league right now.

Ever team gets a bye week, our happens to fall after the all star game think the same for a few other teams
Thanks, that makes sense. The timing of our bye week actually worked out decently with Matthews getting injured when he did. At least he hasn't been missing games lately, and by the sounds of it, he won't be out as long as originally anticipated.
