In pre-season he was probably one of our best players and if we didn't have to leave for Australia he would have most likely made the team. Tenacious on the forecheck, has good vision and works extremely hard, he's going to be a good complimentary player who can move up and down the lineup.

How can you not love this story out of Arizona, even with all the noise going on about the franchise. Lots of buzz about his callup this week.

Son of a AZ lifer fan favourite and last original Jet to play in the NHL. Passed over in his first year of eligibility. Age 19 drafted out of USHL. Production seasons with two years at ASU and Tuscon. First NHL game with his Dad's team? Score 2 goals and look like he more than belongs? Go Josh carry on that legacy!

Been so good on the forecheck through 2 games. Two of his points out of four were directly off of turnovers he caused, and the possession numbers have been dominant both games.

Small sample size, but a guy with his shot + compete level are the type of players coaches would kill for.
